Flotillas are a great way to combine everything that goes with a sailing holiday: sun, warmth, swimming and Island-hopping with sailing alongside like-minded people.The Get Away Sailing flotillas are made up of: a) people new to sailing wanting to join one of our yachts with a professional captain onboard, and b) experienced self-skipper sailors interested in exploring new places with people interested in a country's history and culture. Share-a-BoatIf you're travelling solo or as a couple consider chartering a berth or cabin aboard one of our share-a-boats. With a professional skipper at the helm you can totally relax onboard. If learning to sail is something you're interested in we also offer the opportunity to take part and learn to sail while Island-hopping giving you the theory and practical skills you'll need if you want to progress to formal qualifications. |
Our skippers are trained professionals so dipping in and out of being active onboard with purely relaxing is fine with us. You can decide your level of involvement at the start of each day. Again, just let your skipper know. Yacht with SkipperIf you're researching a sailing holiday for a group then a dedicated yacht with skipper is the most economical option for your party. See our online availability module for yacht prices and details. Self-skipperIf skippering yourself, our flotillas are for sailors that have previously chartered a yacht or catamaran. There is no flotilla fee just the usual charter fees that apply to bareboat yacht rental.
